David is responsible for enhancing the performance
of "property assets" on behalf of either
intentional or non-intentional landlord Clients. David
looks at investment asset management from an angle
not enjoyed by many who have dealt with management
all their working lives. His pro-active approach generates
substantial tangible benefit.
Having been in the property industry for almost 30
years, David entered the management sector from a
valuation and rent review background. Prior to joining
LSM Partners, he was a Partner in GVA Grimley following
the takeover of Saxon Law, and prior to that he was
an equity partners in Allsop & Co.
During his career, David has acted for Institutional
investors, property companies, high net worth individuals
and public sector clients. He has also managed for
corporate occupiers on their portfolios so understands
well the balance between the needs of investors and
their occupying tenants.
David is regularly appointed by the RICS as an Arbitrator
and Independent Expert in respect of commercial rent
review disputes and on management matters and service
charge disputes. He has appeared as expert witness
in the Courts on rent reviews / lease renewals, management
matters and service charge disputes.
Outside the office, David enjoys watching and coaching
cricket (having been a keen Essex League player himself),
watching his two children play club hockey and playing
the occasional game of golf. He also enjoys music
and plays the classical guitar and lute having given
concerts in his younger days!
